What is Analogue and IP?

What is Analogue and IP?

Analogue is the traditional type of surveillance. It transfers video over the cable directly into the recorder. Recorders used for analogue systems are either the traditional old VCRs (Video Cassette Recorders) used in older systems, or the updated DVRs (Digital Video Recorders), which use hard drives to store footage instead of cassette tapes.

The Advantages and Limitations of Panoramic Security Cameras

The Advantages and Limitations of Panoramic Security Cameras

In today's security-conscious world, technological advancements offer a diverse range of surveillance solutions, with panoramic IP security cameras standing out as a notable innovation. Providing a wide-angle view, these cameras capture extensive surroundings in a single frame, although with both advantages and disadvantages. SPRO has introduced a cutting-edge 180-degree panoramic camera to CCTV Outlet's IP collection, boasting built-in AI technology for features like people counting and intrusion detection.

This sophisticated addition reduces the need for multiple units, offering comprehensive surveillance coverage. While panoramic cameras excel in wide-area surveillance, they also face challenges such as distortion and reduced image quality. However, with innovations like the SPRO 4MP DUO IP Panoramic Colour Night Camera With AI-PRO, the surveillance landscape evolves, catering to modern security needs. Don't miss our kit bundle featuring two SPRO cameras and the SPRO A7 16 Channel 16MP IP NVR recorder
