Model No.: DHIPD80/ARW/40M-T

This 8MP 4K CCTV IP Turret camera can capture images at 4 times the detail of full HD (1080P). The results are stunning when viewed back through a TV screen or monitor that supports 4K resolution.  These cameras are suitable for indoor and outdoor use and only require the one cable for both power and video if connected directly to the IP NVR or a POE switch.

The high powered IR on this camera can reach up to 40 meters, giving excellent coverage at night. The night time images themselves are of the highest quality because of this.

The lens is 2.7-13.5mm auto-focus lens giving a wide angle view so is ideal for viewing close perimeters around buildings and as it captures images at 8MP it can also be used for monitoring paths leading away from buildings.

The turret camera is IP67 rated so can be mounted indoors or outdoors. As a bonus this camera also has digital WDR, so it is able to capture clear images when there is a lot of contrasting light levels.

* The actual resolution of this video may have been scaled down due to screen size and streaming quality.

SPEC ICONS

Auto-focus Lens

Although fixed lens cameras are simple and straightforward to install they are limited to the distance an object is from the camera. Vari-focus cameras give the installer more control over this distance by allowing an installer to adjust the lens and focal distance manually.

An auto-focus camera takes this benefit one step further by allowing a user to change the focal distance from the DVR/NVR. This opens up benefits, such as having an auto-focus camera overlooking a shop counter and focusing on a cash register during busy hours and focusing on the shop floor out of opening hours. Up to 40M Night Vision with Smart IR

Powerfull 40 Meter Night Vision with Build-in Smart IR.

SMART IR

What is Smart IR?

Smart IR adjusts the intensity of the built in IR lamps to prevent what is known as whiteout. When dark the camera floods an area with IR light that the human eye can't see. The IR light bounces around and illuminates the area and this is how the camera is able to see at night.

If someone or an object was placed in front of the camera all the IR light that was meant for the whole area will be reflected back at the camera. This results in the object or person becoming very bright.

With smart IR the camera will sense that an object is near the foreground and reduce the amount of IR light produced thus lessening the brightness of the image.

STARLIGHT

Full Colour Night Technology.

STARLIGHT

Starlight technology in CCTV cameras enables the camera to display and record a colour picture in low light level conditions. This means during the early evening when the sun starts to set a Starlight CCTV camera would still produce a colour image whilst IR cameras have switched on their infra-red and are producing greyscale night vision images.

Even with very little ambient lighting (such as the light from the stars) it’s still entirely possible for a Starlight camera to produce a full colour image, but in practice these cameras will switch and use its IR when it gets too dark.

Unless there is ambient light, like a streetlight or a patio light, then the Starlight camera will eventually produce a greyscale image.

TRUE WDR (120dB)

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) is the software that helps the camera to adjust in challenging lighting conditions. Standard WDR is rated at 60dB while TRUE WDR is rated at 120dB. This allows the camera  to show more detail in challenging lighting conditions.
