I made an error at time of placing order but CCTV Outlet called me to advise before dispatch to change the order before dispatch saving time and potentially postage costs. Not often if ever a seller has ever done that before. I'd selected incorrect bases so this would have been a major hold up in installation as potentially wouldn't notice til I was installing.
I have also gone back and forth with questions which are also always answered within 24hours.
It worked out much cheaper going direct thru CCTV Outlet than paying a third party to install the same product and instead doing it DIY installation with all the tutorials on their webpage regarding location and height. I replaced a 4 camera set up with 3 and have better coverage which was very surprising and also colour night vision.

Great company. As a DIY installer, it was great to be able to contact Peter and the rest of the support team who were always able to help me resolve my problems with the system. Some of the questions I had were quite generic. Others were very technical including PoE, app config, account problems, alerts, IVS vs SMD etc and they guided me through all of it really well. My system has been running now for the best part a year and it is the best thing I ever did in terms of piece of mind. I have the system set to alert as soon as someone crosses a line or appears in a zoned area. People are often surprised when I open the door before they have even rang the door bell! I have also caught someone on camera at 1am trying my car door on the driveway. Fortunately, after 9pm at night, I have a schedule set up so that it says “you are under surveillance”. The would-be thief knew he had been seen and he scurried off to be with the other rats.
