Remote Networking
Trouble getting your product online?
All of our recorders have a built in advanced P2P configuration tool whereby all that is needed to gain access to a recording unit remotely is to scan a QR Code with a mobile device. In some circumstances older routers may prevent access to the internet using the P2P feature.
By purchasing a remote servicing package we can remote into a machine and manually port-forward your router so that your recorder can be accessed from outside your network.
In order for our technicians to be able to perform remote networking there must be a PC or Laptop on site and connected to the network. The network must also have an internet connection so that one of our technicians can access the site. Please also ensure that your DVR/NVR is connected to the network.
