Hood for MotionProtect OutDoor protects sensors of the anti-masking system from rain and snow to prevent false alarms.
Apart from burglars, the normal operation of the detector can also be affected by snow. This can stick to the cover sensors, blocking their field of view and causing a false alarm. The hood protects MotionProtect Outdoor from the effects of snowfall. The cover sensors react to spray paint and varnish. However, heavy and prolonged rainfall can cause disruption. Hood protects MotionProtect Outdoor during a rain, preventing interference that leads to false alarms.
