Running network cables for more than 100m can cause some issues as the digital signal starts to degrade when it reaches that distance. The POE Extender can be used to increase the distance an IP camera signal can reach. It does this by injecting extra power into the signal to stop the digital signal from losing its power and degrading. By using this you can get up to an extra 100m in your transmission distance.
