Notes on DVR's (Digital Video Recorders):
Our standalone digital video recorders start from 4 Channel systems with ample features for most uses, up to 16 Channels systems for the more complex CCTV surveillance requirements.

Easy to use, DVR's can also include the functions of:

• Activity Detection – tracking changes in image content
• Alarm Handling – linking camera control to alarm systems
• Telemetry – enabling pan/tilt/zoom control.

In 1997 the House of Lords Select Committee on Science & Technology conducted an investigation into the increasing use of digital imaging and the issues surrounding the suitability of digital images for use as evidence. A report of their findings was published in February 1998. The study investigated image quality, image tampering, storage and reproduction amongst many other important issues.
